Process

Before Care

• For 3 – 5 days, stop using Retin A and other exfoliating topical treatments.
• For 5 – 7 days, refrain from getting skin resurfacing or hair removal treatments.
• Limit your time spent in the sun.
• If a rash or blemish appears, reschedule your appointment for a few weeks, as your skin needs to be clean and clear.

During Treatment

• Your skin is cleansed before applying a strong numbing lotion to the area to ensure maximum comfort.
• The treatment will start around 15 – 20 minutes once the area is numb.
• Your therapist chooses the correct tooltip and carefully places it in the treatment area.
• You will feel the heat and light pressure on the treated area while receiving treatment.
• Most people tolerate it well, and it is only minimally unpleasant.
• The doctor frequently checks in on you.
• Depending on the size of the targeted area, the treatment may take 40 minutes or longer.

After Care

• Also, please avoid exercise for at least 24 hours following the treatment
• For two to three days, the treated area will feel slightly rough.
• Please don’t wash their skin until the next day.
• After the procedure, you may feel pain, but they can usually return to their normal activities after one day.
