Process

Before Treatment

• The area to be treated must be shaved 24 hours before the session.
• Avoid sun exposure for one week.
• If you have sunburn, we will need to wait one month.

During Treatment

• The first step is to clear the skin and provide protective eyewear.
• A small handpiece delivers a pulse of laser light energy to the treatment area.
• A cooling spray is also released to protect the skin and reduce discomfort.
• You might feel slight discomfort – like a rubber band snapping against your skin.
• For additional comfort, a cool compress is applied at the end of the treatment.

After Care

• You may resume normal activities immediately.
• To avoid skin sensitivity, you should avoid the sun, saunas, hot tubs, and other heat sources.
• Avoid using harsh cleansers while the skin heals.

Side effects

• The skin may appear red and swollen, like a mild sunburn.
