Process

Before Treatment:

• Before your appointment, a waiver and health history form must be completed if you are a new patient.
• Avoid alcohol, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, and products with salicylic acid before treatments to prevent bruising.
• Do not use Accutane for six months before therapy.
• Avoid self-tanning lotions, tanning beds, or excessive sun exposure before therapy.
• Do not take blood-thinning medications like Advil or Motrin for two weeks before therapy.

During Treatment:

• Micro-needling therapy uses tiny, sterile needles to create channels in the skin.
• This minimally invasive therapy can also be used for hair loss treatment
• The micro-channels created by the needles allow specially-made serums to reach the deeper layers of the scalp
• Using serums during micro-needling helps the skin heal faster
• Micro-needling improves the absorption of serums and helps healthy cells work better
• The formation of new collagen and elastin in the scalp promotes hair growth
• Micro-needling also promotes the formation of new capillaries, which improves blood flow to the scalp and supports healthy hair growth.

After Care

There is very little recovery time needed after treatment, and you should only anticipate minor side effects, such as some soreness, redness, or irritation. These should be minor and last less than a day.

Side effects

After treatment, you might see some redness on your scalp. This, however, is only temporary and will disappear in roughly 24 hours.
