Process

Before Care

• Prepare for your treatment by avoiding excessive sun exposure, including tanning beds, for one week before your appointment.
• Refrain from using any exfoliants, including scrubs and chemical peels, for two days before your treatment.
• Only use lasers or chemical peels for at least two weeks before your scheduled procedure.

During Treatment

• The first step is to have a consultation with our aesthetician to discuss your skin concerns, medical history, and any medications or allergies that you may have. This will help determine if the Aqua Gold Fine Touch is the right treatment for you.
• The aesthetician will cleanse your face to remove any makeup, dirt, or oil from your skin.
• The Aqua Gold Fine Touch device, which contains ultra-thin, 24-karat gold-plated microneedles, will create microchannels in the skin. This will help the blend of rejuvenating ingredients penetrate deeper into the skin.
• A customised mixture of vitamins, antioxidants, and hyaluronic acid will be applied to the skin using the Aqua Gold Fine Touch device. The ingredients will be infused into the skin through the microchannels created by the microneedles.
• The aesthetician will apply a soothing serum and moisturiser to your skin to help calm any redness or irritation caused by the microneedling.

After Care

• Wearing sunscreen after the treatment is recommended to protect your skin from UV damage.
• To ensure optimal results, avoid exfoliating the treated area for 48 hours after the procedure.
• For the first 24 hours following treatment, it’s important to avoid heat sources such as hot showers, saunas, and aerobic exercises that could cause sweating to keep the treated area clean and protected.
• The morning after your treatment, cleanse your face with the skincare products recommended by your doctor to maintain the health and radiance of your skin.

Side effects

• While the microneedles used in Aqua Gold are designed to be gentle on the skin, patients may experience some mild discomfort during the procedure. This can feel like a slight prickling or tingling sensation.
• After the procedure, patients may experience some redness and swelling in the treated area. This is a normal response to the microneedling and should subside within a few hours.
• Some patients may notice increased skin sensitivity in the treated area for a few hours following the procedure. This can feel like a mild sunburn or irritation and should resolve on its own.
• In rare cases, patients may experience bruising at the site of the micro needling. This is typically mild and should resolve within a few days. if you don’t experience side effects when using your regular skincare products.
